Start: Piedmont Park public parking deck and 10th / Monroe trailhead, Piedmont Park Parking Garage, 1322 Monroe Drive, Atlanta, GA. Use the public shared park / botanical-garden deck, accessed beyond Monroe and Worchester. The conservancy directs park visitors to the lowest-floor exit. Walk public park paths south to 10th Street / Monroe Drive and use the controlled crossing to the signed Eastside Trail. This adds a substantial park walk, excluded from cycling mileage; allow time and follow signs.

Distance: Chosen maximum two-mile paved return from the trailhead. The garage-to-trailhead walk is additional. Earlier two-mile Eastside descriptions do not establish the current whole network length.

Permission and effort: BeltLine operator promotes cycling on the finished Eastside rail corridor. Atlanta Track Club independently describes its paved multi-use tread. Former rail-corridor alignment provides a modest urban outing, with gradual rises rather than a guarantee of level ground. Park approaches and ramps are not surveyed; walk them if needed. Crowd handling can be harder than pedaling.

Planning: Use daylight within posted park and trail access. The conservancy identifies a cashless public deck with time-based charges; bring a card and check posted rates. No separate trail admission is established. Yield to people walking, pass slowly and keep the path clear. Choose a quiet daylight period; dismount when crowds make riding impractical.

Access reviewed October 20, 2026 Central (October 21 UTC): The current operator retains Eastside access from Piedmont Park. The separate construction and restrooms information does not assure every facility or all BeltLine segments are open. Follow signs and barriers; this guide supplies no road bypass.

Bring water and choose suitable weather. Parking walking is extra. No surveyed parking-space pin or navigable GPX is supplied.
