Paseo del Bosque: Shining River to before Montaño
Albuquerque
About 6 miles main return plus parking walk · Out and back
Asphalt shared-use main path.
This outing follows the paved east-bank Bosque path south from the Paseo del Norte area, then returns before Montaño Road. It gives you a stretch of the Rio Grande corridor without committing to the entire 16-mile city trail. Trees, river habitat and nearby irrigation channels give the ride its setting, though the river is not continuously visible from the pavement.
Santa Fe Rail Trail: short paved Railyard return
Santa Fe

Paved city rail-trail subsection
Walk from legal depot-area public parking to the signed Rail Trail. Follow the paved city trail south up to half a mile and retrace. Stop at the first road or rail interface if you do not want to cross; never enter active railway tracks.
