A local guide rounds the path to one mile each way. These are descriptions of the same short corridor, not two trails to add together.
Start: Ditto Landing, Ditto Landing public greenway access, 293 Ditto Landing Road SE, Huntsville, AL 35803. The city explicitly identifies Ditto Landing as public greenway parking, and the marina manager welcomes cycling. Use designated visitor/day-use parking and walk your bicycle through the parking and internal-road area to the paved greenway's western entrance beside the campground. Do not occupy a reserved campsite, boat-ramp lane, grass verge or closed-road space simply because another visitor once parked there. Follow posted parking terms or ask staff if the visitor spaces are unclear.
Course: follow the paved path east beside the Tennessee River toward the Madison County Marina end. At the end of the greenway or its barrier, turn back before entering a public street. Keep to the riverfront path rather than taking a marina service drive. Return the same way. This outing does not include the road connection to Aldridge Creek Greenway or a ride through the campground.
Surface and effort: a paved shared path, described as mostly flat by the independent local guide. No surveyed maximum grade or current pavement inspection is available. Keep away from the steep riverbank and slow for bends, other users and any debris.
Traffic: the selected path is separated from ordinary street riding; reaching it from parking involves a busy marina with vehicles and boat trailers. Walk that approach carefully. Maintenance and emergency access are still possible on the path. Give walkers and leashed dogs room.
Hours and cost: use daylight and posted visitor-parking and trail terms. The reviewed manager pages do not give greenway operating hours or a trail admission charge. Office and ship-store hours, paid campsites, boat-storage rates and special-event parking charges are separate. This guide does not establish overnight lot access or e-bike eligibility.

No notice closing this selected eastern path appeared in those reviewed sources. That is a limited desktop check, not a present flood or tread inspection.
